Built from Beal Opera 8.5mm UNICORE Golden Dry rope, this cowstail is designed for demanding vertical environments where durability, handling, and resistance to water and dirt matter most.
The Opera is one of the lightest and most advanced dynamic ropes available (48 g/m), combining low impact force with a supple feel that knots and handles exceptionally well.
Beal’s Golden Dry treatment applies a water-repellent coating to both the sheath and core, reducing water absorption, limiting dirt ingress, and helping the rope maintain performance over time in wet and abrasive conditions.
The rope also features UNICORE technology, permanently bonding the core and sheath together to improve durability and prevent slippage, even if the sheath is damaged.
